HusTbK ani) Co., report^ for tho month :— At Ohaupo Yards, oa December. 2nd,' there was a full muster of all descriptions ot cattli . pi ices were firm and ruled in i.ivor ot vendoi , especially tor }oung stock. At the Hamilton Ytirds on December 4th, the y.irds were pretty well filled with cattle. Buyers were in attendance from Pukenmu and fe Awamutu, with ffw exceptions all sold. A large number of Horses"were offered, but few sold. At Ohaupo, on December 16th, there \\ as again a very large njuster of cattle. Young stock were largely competed ' tor, and fetched tully 5s per head more than at previous sale. Heef also sold well, (jrrown stores were in slack demand, except cows tor giaizng, which sold high. At Okete Yards, Raglan, on Tuesday December 21st there was a very large number of cattle yarded, which were ot* a better class than usual at this place. A number ot local and Watkato buyers were in attendance, and nearly every beast sold. Competition was Keen throughout the sale. At Cambndjjv, on December 23ft!, a very large number of beet cattle were brought forward. Fortytwo head, were pennpd, and contrary to expectation found good sale, somo very choice cattle realised nearly 30s per ioolbs, medium quality 255. A number .of stores met ready sale. A large number bi fat' sheep were yarded, and with the exception of !)>vo pens all were sold. For well-bred pigs there was keen competition, sows sold at from £6 to £6 15s ; young pigs at from 15s to £1 15s each.
