Auckland Camm- Markm.— Mr. Alfred Buckhmd's Weekly Report : At the Ha\ market, on Friday, last horse stock were in unusually largo number, but of a useful chi-w. Kidding was steady throughout the s.ilc, and, with very iew exceptions, all yarded were sold at the auction. Riding and light harness horses, brought from £7 to £18; medium draft, £17 to £26; hea\y dratt, £29 lo £38 each. The wool sale on Tuesday was fully attended with bujcrs. Late reports from the Home inaikets not being so good as expected, there was a further decline in price of about Jd on greasy, to near id on washed wools, being from rd.to ad par lb. less than the opening sales of this series. At Pokeno, on Monday, the muster of cattle was the largest yet held in those yards ; there were plenty of buyers, and satisfactory prices obtained throughout the sale. At the Remuera yards, on Thursday, dairy rattle were in limited numbers, but better inquiry th.in last week- . Young store cattle at last week's values; find grown steers better worth. Fat cattle wore in less than a\eiage supply— i 17 head yarded, the whole of which were sold. Prices "were higher, and none were sold at the low quotations of last week. Prices ranged from 1 ' 20s to 265, but the greater part varied only from 23s to 2^s the ioolbs. Sheep were in full supply, but better worth, and wethers brought 2|d to 2sd, but several pens of owes barely 2d the lb. Lambs were very numerous, and lower in price than last week, but all of fair quality brought above 8s each} prices ranged from 10s to 13s for good quality. ' Well-bred pigs, from 7olbs. to loolbs. weight, were in brisk inquiry, and a full supply of well-bred store pigs, in low condition, occasioned good competition. Messrs Hunter and Nolans Weekly Report.'—Wool : Our second sale of the season was held on Thursday, when 300 bales and packages were disposed of, at a slight decline on last quotations. Horses.— At the Durham Yards, on Friday, over an average number were entered for disposal by auction, and though bidding was slow during the sale, most in were quitted at prices satisfactory to the vendor, and with very little alteration in last week's values. Cattle.— At Papakura, on Monday, we held a special sale, and prices for store cattle advanced, no doubt on account of the heavy rain lately. At Newmarket, on Tuesday, about the usual number of all descriptions was yarded, and, with the exception of fat cattle, there was no noteworthy alteration. Beef was dull of sale, consequent on the butchers being overstocked. Sheep.— The yards were well filled on Tuesday, and prices were a shade lower than of late. Lambs were in full supply, and met with brisk competition, and sold at from 7s to 14s 6d. Pigs were yarded in extraordinarily large numbers, and sold at a reduction in price accordingly. Thames, Thursday. Banks and Co. report : The first consingment for the season of oveiland cattle were offered today. The lot was from Messrs Gould Brothers' station, Waitoa, and was of excellent quality. Sheep offered in fair number, the supply being mainly from Mr Alley's farm. Lambs were plentiful. Prices : Prime beef, 25s per ioolbs. Sheep, mixed sexes, and moderate weights, ios6d to us 6d; lambs, 10s 3d to us. A small lot, good sample, of oats brought 2s 6d per bushel.
