Nomination, 1 soy. ; acceptance, 2 sovsT Maiden Plate, of 60 soys. Distance, one and a-half miles. Entrance, 3 soys. Open to all horses that have never wen an advertised race exceeding £25 in value ; winner of any such race after entry to carry 71b. penalty. Weight for age. Turf Club Handicap, of ioo soys., with a sweepstake of 5 soys. each added ; second horse, 10 soys. ; third horse, 5 soys. out of stakes. Distance, two miles. Nomination, 2 soya. ; acceptance, 5 soys. President's Stakes, of 35 soys. Distance, one and a-quarter miles. Weight for age. Entrance, 2^ soys. Winner of Maiden Plate to carry 71b. penalty.

SECOND DAY.— Friday, Feb. 18th. Handicap Hurdle Race, of 40 soys., with a sweepstake of 2 soys. each added; 5 soys. out of stake to go to second horse. Nominations for Handicaps to be sent to the Secretary Waikato Turf Club, Hamilton, on or before Wednesday, February 2, 1881, at 8 o'clock p.m. Entries for Maiden Plate and President's Stakeß close on Friday, February 11, at 8 o'clock p.m. Weights will be published on Thursday, February 3. Acceptances and general entries will be

received up to Friday, February 11. Entrance money enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of horse, and colours of rider. Weights for Publicans' Purse, Thursday, February 17, at 8 o'clock p.m. Acceptances before first race second day.

No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition : That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with carrying out of this programme shall be final. All Races to be run under the V.R.C Rules. Any Jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined 3 soys. No entry will be received on any pretence whatever after the hour named, or without being accompanied by the necessary amount of cadi. Auckland

Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine, not exceeding 5 soys. to the Kace Fund. All piotests must be accompanied with a deposit of o eovs., which sum will be forfeited to the Race Fund if the protest is not sustained.
