At the Canterbury meeting in 1876, won the Grand otand Handicap, 1 mile, in 1 mm. 50 sees., carrying 8 st. 2 lbs., beating 6 others. In the same year won the Hawkes Bay Stakes, 2 miles, in 4 mins. 4t sees., beating Fishhook and the Maori Weed.
