Wheat is decidedly firmer at 4s 3d. Town flour is quoted at £9 15a ; country brands at £9 to £9 2s 6d.
Do not give a tired horse very cold water, as it often produces colic. Many allow water to stand for some minutes in buckets. On the road, horses should he watered once in 10 miles at least.
