THE MAIL DELIVERY. TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, — Through your columns I would fain call attention to a hardship in postal matters suffered at East Hamilton. Despite there being now but one mail daily, and that at evening, should letters, &c, for East Hamilton be perchance, as often is the case, directed Hamilton only, they are apparently detained twentyfour hours at the Chief Office. Now, knowing the good nature of the Hamilton Postmaster, do we ask too much when we ask for a supplementary mail? — I am, &c, Hamilton East.
