SIR,— We, the undersigned; Burgesses of the Borough of Hamilton/ have experienced ycur untoward actions as a member of the Borough Council^ m all matters of importance affecting our interests, since your election. With feelings of regret, we find' that you have failed to represent us on suoh occasions ; that, m place of working harmoniously with the other members of the Council for the common welfare of the Bbrough, you have become an " obstructionist." Under these circumstancesj we conclude such conduct, m a representative, is injurious to the interests of this constituenoyj and calculated to bring local self-government into ridicule and contempt.
