MARONG.
A disastrous the mged on Tuesday and Wednesday in the Beaufort district. On a small iarm, near the town, 200 sheep were burnt to death, and a woman who was attempting to save her house fiom the flames got severely burnt by her clothes catching fire. Mr. John Wilson, of Tra walla, had about 300 sheep destroyed by a bush fire. Camp-hill, situated near the township, was all ablaze, Mount Cole presenting a giand bight, the flames appearing fiom the distance to completely envelop it.
