“The men made a capitation fee of 15s on all women players and, the new committee decided, in order to increase the membership of the club, that they would allow beginners to join at iss for the first year ahd £1 for all members paying their subscriptions before June 1, otherwise the fee to be 255.

•“.The treasurer, Mrs -Helm, received excellent response and all subscriptions were paid by the due date. Although from a playing and membership point of view the-season was a good one, finam dally it . was not such a success. With all commitments met, th© balance-sheet showed only £1 12s. In the coming year the club will be faced with additional expenditure as it will be necessairy to obtain a cup for the ladies’ senior championship. Under’ the circumstances and on account of the fact that with the possible extension of the playing season and perhaps increased capitation fee the incoming committee would be well advised to consider, ah increase in animal subscriptions. „

“At general meetings it was decided not to join the L.G.17., hut the meetings were unanimous in the wish that some day our course would allow us to join. “Hie weather was fairly kind t 0 our match days, which evoked the usual interest.
