REPRESENTATIVE A TEAM

M. HARVEY (Riverton)—A 'prolific scorer —works hard, but is inclined to relax when against an opponent who overguards and escapes the referee’s attention —combines well at times.

M. MITCHELL (Fairfax) —A surprise selection —does not possess the polish of the other shoots, but should develop with good coaching—when shooting often loses her balance, because of an awkward stance.

TT. BORLAND (Riverton)— A great worker—feeds her partners well and a good scorer.

T. BUCHANAN (Riverton)— A very intelligent player—quick at seeing an Opening— lias great promise and would bear comparison with the best .towii players of senior grade.

P. MacDOUGALL (Riverton)—Very fast —combines splendidly with T. Buchanan —safe pair of hands and always in position.

M. NIOH.OLSON (Fairfax)—Shows promise but is rather' slow when in action with the above centres—needs much practice with better players to eradicate elementary fault® which should not he present in a representative team.

M. MACKIE (Colac)—Very tall and always uses her height and reach to advantage—sure hands —combines well — feeds centres with judgment.

J. MASON (Colac) —A member of. last year’s B team—has greatly improved—combines well with her team-mate.

R. WALKER (Riverton) —There is no player in the team who works harder—very fit and a suro handler—gives hel‘ opponent no rest —needs a little more pace at getting to a- ground ball.
