APARIMA ANGLERS' CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of members waa held in the Band Room on Thursday evening, Mr G. R. Berndtson being in the «hair. The Secretary (Mr H. J. Henderson) submitted the annual report and balancesheet, a copy of the former appearing in our last issue. The balance-sheet disclosed a happy state of affairs, there being a credit of £8 Is sd. The chairman in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet congratulated members on the happy state of the Club's finances. The Club was deeply indebted to the splendid work carried out by its secretary, Mr 11. J. Henderson. Thiß was seconded by Mr R. Fleck and carried. The election -of office bearers resulted so follows : Patron—Mr L. W. Petcttell. President—Mr A.. D. Angus. Vice-presidents—Messrs T. R. Abercrombie, R. Fleck and G. R. Berndt-
Secretary and Treasurer—Mr H. J. Henderson. Auditor —Mr D. C. Robertson. Committee —Messrs J. Martin, R. Davis, R. Dickson and D. C. Robertson.
Mr G. W. Martin was elected a member of the Club. At the conclusion of the meeting a social was held and a pleasant time w.-is spent. The trophies for the year were awarded •is follows :
Open competition—Lex Cloughley 1, R. Fleck 2".' . Heaviest fish —R. Fleck. Fly competition—J. Martin 1, H. J. Henderson 2.
