ALIVE IN COFFIN.
A man identified as Manoel Ladario was reported to have been killed in a level-crossing collision between a train and. a motor car near Sao Paulo, Brazil. Friends went to his house next day for the funeral. To their surprise they were met by Manoel himself. He explained that the previous day he had given his friend, Alexander Moreira, Some identification .papers to take to Sao Paulo. It was Alexander who had been killed.
So the party proceeded to the cemetery to pay their last respects to Alexander. When the lid of tho coffin was raised, according to custom, for the relatives to view the body for the last time, .there waa a gasp of- amazement. For Alexander sat up and struggled to release himself from his shroud. A medical, examination showed that he had merely been stunned. ' ' ~
