WAIPANGO TENNIS CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Waipango Tennis Club was held in the School on Tuesday evening, October 4th. Mr C. Haigh, president, occupying the chair. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £l3 3s 8d on the year’s work ing, which was considered very satisfactory.

The president in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet congratulated all present on the very satisfactory position of the Club, and : thanked all members for the able assistance accorded him during his term of office. The election of officers for the ensuing year then took place and, resulted as follows: President —Air Chalmers. Vice-Presidents—Air T. Lockett and Miss Shearing.. Committee—Miss Dick, Messrs C Anderson C, Haigh G. Willis juur.» G. Peterson.

Secretary anti Treasurer —Air J. Stout.

Auditor —Aliss Willis. It was decided to topdress th e court at once.

The opening day was fixed for Labour Day, when a hearty invitation is accorded to all sister Clubs to b e present, also all friends in the district. It was also decided to hold a dance in the school on Friday evening, October 21st. Ladies 1/- or a Utskat. gents 1/6.
