V* air Alex Kelly V a resident of Colac Bay for the past 30 years, died at the Riverton Hospital on after a short illness at the age of 70. The deceased who was of very retiring dispoition arrived in 'New iZealartd some 53 years ago and followed the occupation of a miner in those days and later took up farming in Southland, alter which he came to Colac where he has lived in retirement since.
