McGill Smith Ltd, v P -Sheedy Jnr and II Smyth v P Sheedy Jnr. No order made defendant stating that he has been out of employment for some time arid wag uriabl© to find employment. Police v A Willis, charged with a breach of a prohibition order. Defendont pleaded guilty and was fined £3 costs 15/- Police v H Cartwright who was charged with supplying Willis with liqiipr was. fined £3. costs 7/-. Police v H! Small charged with breach of a /prohibition order. Defendant pleaded guilty and was fined £2 costs 7/-. '■ ,G B Saxelby Inspector for the Wallace County Council v Jas Wilson charged under the Motor Lorry Regulations with using a. motor lorry on a County road not being the holder of a license in, respect to such vehicle. A Bell County Surfaceman in evidence stated that he had seen Wilson on the county roads on several occasions driving a White L-orry. G B Saxelby stated that he had written to defendant as to taking out a license hut coilld not get an-answer to any of his communications. No license had been taken out in the Southland, or Wallace Counties by defendant. His Worship inflicted a fine of £2O with costs £3.0/6. His Worship, delivered his reserved judgment in breaches . of' Revenue rind Licensing Aci W and R Dickson were each fined £SO. with costs 7/W G Coulter was fined £l2 10/0 costs 7/-.. The charge against A Coulter was dismissed.
