WEDDING.

TENNENT-McCREGOR Mount Linton was the scene of a very pretty and very fashionable wedding on Wednesday, when Miss Maise McGregor, daughter of Mr and Mrs J. W. McGregor, Mount'Linton, was married to Dr'Allen Tennent, Nightcaps. The ceremony which was preformed by Bishop Richards of Dunedin, assisted by tlie curate Rev. Dawson, took place on the verandah of the residence, which was charmingly decorated for the occasion, a largo white bell being suspended over the beads of the' bridal couple. The wedding march was played by Mr C. Gray. The bride wore a striking gown of soft white satin, the veil being arranged mob-cap fashion, and caught up with orange blossoms. Her handsome bouquet was tied with pretty streamers. The bridesmaids, Missess Tennent and McGregor, wore dainty powder blue and silver frocks. •their pretty bouquets with streamers effectively contrasting the colour scheme. The bride’s mother, Mrs J. ■ W McGregor, was. attired.in a smart blue model, her hat, scarf and boquet completing the chic ensemble. Tlie bridegroom was assisted by Dr Bull (North Island), and Mr H. McGregor, jin-,. More than 100 guests attended, the lovely frocking combining to make a brilliant and memorable scene. After the wedding breakfast which was held in a spacious marquee, the-couple left vi a motor for Their 'honeymoon. Brilliant sunshine, ..confetti and good wishes greeted the happy couple. The wedding presents made a magnificent display, gleaming crystal and silver arousing admiring comment. A picturesque touch was. lent to the proceedings by a piper who paced tlie lawn.
