The elections of School Committees take place qn Wednesdays 12th April, at 7-30 p.m.
Two sawyers and two. tailer-outs are wanted by a sawmilling firm -in Reef ton.
A bathing fatality occurred on the Te Waewao beach at Papatotara, six miles beyond Tutapere on Sunday, as a result of which a girl 13 years of age was drowned. From information received by the police, it' appeam that the girl, Ann* Boulter, daughter of James A. Boulter, a farmer, went bathing with a companion about the same age in a sort of lagoon on tho beach in the afternoon between one and two o'clock. The girl Boulter got out of. her depth and was drowned. The body was recovered later. j
