ROBINSON CRUSOE PANTOMIME.

Mr Brandon Holt's Pantomime Company, which only-arrived lately from Australia, will appear in the Empire Theatre to-night in "Robinson Crusoe." Some time has now elapsed since a .pantomime was laist: staged in Riverton, so that the visit of the " Robinson Crusoe" Company should lie very welcome. Pantomime has always been a favourite stage attraction, making, an equal appeal ta the elder and the younger folks. This may he because of the fact that mostly all of the pantomimes which are presented take their theme from the many nursery rhymes and fairy stories which everybody first learned' in the days of infancy. And. in this connection no story lends itself better to reproduction in pantomime than our old friend "Robinson Crusoe." Excellent reports are to baud concerning the merit of the visiting combination; an excellent array of artists including Miss Dorothy Manning, a favourite "principal boy" in Australia, and Mr Harry Grahaim, a noted) English comedian and "dame" impersonator.- Seats may be reserved at Stock's.
