BIRCHWOOD HUNT.

The annual meeting of the^"above took place in the secretary’s office on Saturday evening, when President A. A. Liddell presided over an attendance of over 30 members. The report and balance-sheet showed that the Club had had/ a successful season, numerous bunts were held, and the followings were good. The balance-sheet showed a present credit balance of £346, which reflected credit on the response of enthusiasts, and a. careful management over the expenditure. Mr A. A. Liddell was re-elected President. , Mr R, Langford wa# appointed Master, and Mr C. Ryan deputymaster of the hounds for the ensuing year. Mr W. Portcous was re-elected auditor, while Messrs M. O’Brien and C. H. Williamson were appointed to fill the vacancies on. the Committee. Tiiere were several applications for the position of Huntsman and Mr J. Kirkwood/ was selected. The opening day was fixed for a hunt to take place over the Gtautau country on Wednesday, May 5, 1920.
