Rodger, Esq., to sell by public auction, as above, his very old-established flock of ROMNEY MARSH consisting of—--133 Ewes (32 four-tooths, 36 sixtooths, 85 oight-tooths) 140 Ram Lambs. All of these Ewes are registered in the N.Z. Romney Marsh Flock Book, and, aS they have recently been approved and tattooed by the Inspector of the ■Romney Marsh Association, transfers will be guaranteed. Any ewes not eligible have already been taken out. The Flock, which is No. 493, was originally established by the late Mr James Gardner. ' The Flock, has always been carefully bred, but the sheep have never been pampered, and they will do well wherever they go. Those interested, therefore, in purebred Romneys are recommended to attend this sale, as it affords a. rare opportunity of getting fresh blood of a good type.
