>s SOUTHERN PASTORAL COMMISSION. j\jf OTJ.CE is hereby given that a ■ Royal Commission lias been appointed to ascertain whether the Pastoral Crown Lands of the Land Districts of Canterbury, Otago* and Southland, are’being leased and utilised fn the best manner and whether the pasturage of the said landts is deteriorating; and, if so, the cause of such deterioration and how best to remedy the same, and to improve the conditions of settlement of the said lands. The Ccnitmissioix wijl commence its sittings in the Land Board Room, Government Buildings, Invercargill, on Wednesday, the 14th April at 3 p.m., and continue on the loth at 10 a.m., proceeding thence to Mauapouri on 16th, Lumsden 17th, Queenstown 19th, Gore 20th, Switzers 21st, and Tapauui 22nd. The Commission respectfully invites evidence on the above joints from either Crown Tenants or others whose experience would assist it in its deliberations. ROBT. T. SARD.
