WALLACE COUNTY COUNCIL. THE ROCKS TOWNSHIP BUILDING BY-LAW. jUOTICB is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Wallace County Council held) on the 20th day of February, 1920, it was resolved by way of special order that the Council make a By-law under “The Counties Act, 1908/ and “The Public Health Act, 1908.” The objects and purport of such By-law ore as follows: 1. To provide that in the area described below it shall be necessary to obtain the consent of the Wallace County Council to the erection or alteration of any house and to the making of any drains and to provide the means of obtaining such consent. 2. To providle in the said area a minimum size and frontage for residential building allotments and a minimum open space in erecting or altering houses. 3. The area referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 above is ALL that parcel of land situated in the County of Wallace bounded as follows commencing at the Northwestern corner of Section 6, Block 11, Jacob’s River Hundred and thence towards the North-east by a roadline along the sea coast to the North-east comer of Section'9 of said Block II thence towards the Southeast by part of Section 10a of the said Block II for a distance of fifteen chains thence towards the South-west in a line at a bearing of 315 degrees by parts of Sections 9,8, 7 and Gof the said Block to the North-west boundary of the said Section 6 and thence on the North-west by part Section 5b of the said Block II to the commencing point. The said resolution will, be submitted for confirmation to the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers, Main Street, Otautau, on Friday, the 16 bh day of April, 1920, at 11 a.m. Copies of the proposed Special Order and By-law are deposited at the office of the Wallace County Council, Main Street, Otautau, and at the Office of the Magistrate's Court, Palmerston Street, Riverton, where the same will be open for public- inspection during office hours until the said confirming meeting is held.
