SJome time ago the young men- of Thornbury inaugurated art Amateur Athletic Club, and held an evening

meeting similar to those held at Riverton and Otautau. The meeting was very successful and the members decided to hold a day meeting a t end of harvest. This meeting came oft successfully last Wednesday, the day being suitable The racing waa wood, and the fields large. Mr W. Diack (starter) and Mr E.
