A', pretty wedding was celebrated at the residence of Ittr and Airs D. Sinclair, "Calderbank," NighbCapS, on the 2nd inst.,, when Miss Mary, Sinclair was married to Mr A. McQueen, son of (Mr A. McQueen, "Carslae," Waikaka. There was a. representative gathering of friends and relations -o witness line ceremony, wjhioli was performed by the Rev. W. E. Sleep. The bride was attired in a dress of cream cashmere serge with satin trimmings, and she also wore the orthodox vail and wreath of orange blossoms, currying a lovely shower bouquet, and wore a handsome chain sand pearl pendant, the gilt of the bridegroom. Miss .Jesteiu Sinclair (sister of -the bride) as bridesmaid, was becomingly attired in eroam crepe de chine, with ribbon aud button trimnmngs, and carried o> bouquet. The bridegroom's gift to tha bridegroom was iai (handsome j.'old brooch. Mr Hugh Mclntyro acted in the capacity of best man. After the ceremony the guests 1 repaired to the dining-r u om, where , a sumptuous wedding breakfast was laid out. Mr Sleep presided, and the usual toasts \v~xe honored. The happy- couple were the recipients oE many useful and valuable presents, among thtiin being tt silver tea service from the Nightcaps choir.
