Orepuki Postal Accommodation.
TO BE INCREASED. Mr J. 0. Thomson M. H. R. made representations to the PostmasterGeneral urging better postal accommodation at Orepuki. The member replied that alterations would be made, but as these did not meet with the approval of the townspeople, _ the member made further representations, and yesterday received the following satisfactory reply from Sir Joseph Ward i-l have the honour to refer to ypvir letter of the 17th Nov., last, concerning the postal accommodation at the Orepuki railway station, and to inform you that the original proposal is not to be given but instead additions arc about to be made which will be Sufficient to meet all roquh'jments for a cQasideiable time.”
