Montgomery Entertainers

An entirely ne'w programme of moving pictures, illustrated songs, interspersed with music, mirth and melody, will be presented by Mr Montgomery on his forthcoming visit here on Tuesday night inext. This enterprising proprietor has just received from his London agents a large and costly collection of the very latest successes in mov ing picture films. Subjects of a humorous character will be strongly represented. Great interest will doubtless be aroused by the an nouncement that Mr Montgomery; will exhibit the first of a series ofmoving pictures : " With the New Zealand representatives through Great Britain." The match against Northumberland and incidents in connection therewith will be vividly portrayed, in which the individual players easily recognised. Other moving pictures will include the sensational " Daring American Bank Burglary," " The Derby Winner," " The Life of a Racehorse," " Marie Antoinette " (or "From Queen to Scaffold"), " A trip up Mount Blanc" (18 scenes). Among many mirth producers may be mentioned "A policeman's Troubles," " Bill Bailey's Surprise," " Scenes on Every Floor," "An Absent-minded Beggar," "Sandy McGregor's Ablutions." Of the whole entertainment; an exchange says :—" One can obtain more tragedy, comedy, humor and pulse-quickening excitement in an hour at this show than can be obtained at a dozen ordinary theatrical performances." First class artists will contribute an excellent programme of music, mirth, and comedy sketches.
