SHOOTING ACCIDENT.

Mc A. Younger, eldest son of David Younger was adiuittod to the Riverton Hospital last night suffering f roui the effect of a shot wound in the head. It appears that in company with Mr T. S. Mitchell, they were out duck shooting, when Mr Mitchell tripped and his gun accidently went off, Mr Younger being a few paces away received the charge in the left temple. On arrival at the Hospital a portion of the shot and felt wad were extracted from the wound. On inquiry at the hospital this morning we were informed that the patient is in a precarious condition. General regret was expressed on receipt of the news of the accident, and great sympathy is felt for Mr and Mrs Younger in their affliction.
