DUNEDIN PRODUCE MARKET. Gate —Competition is not keen, bat most lots on offer ere being cleared at —For sparowbills, 2s Id to 2s 2*d ; dans, 2s 6d to 2s 7d : and black oats, 2s 4ld per bashel (sacks extra). Wheat—The demand is not brisk, and only a few lots changed hands at 3s 5d to 3s 8d per bushel for whole wheat (sacks In). Potatoes—The market continues to be poorly supplied, and all good Dements are keenly competed for. Best Dements, £7 5s to £7 10s; medium, £6 10s to £7 ; best kidneys, £7 10s to £8; others, £5 to £7 per ton (saeks in). Chaff—The market is still overstocked with chaff of medium quality, which is difficult to place. Prime oaten sheaf is not so plentiful. Best oaten ehcaf, £3 10s to £3 12s 6d ; extra heavy to £3 15s; medium to good, £3 to <3 5s ; straw chaff, 27s 6d per ton (sacks extra). Turnips— Swedes (loose in truck), 16a to 17a 6d per ton. DUNEDIN STOCK MARKET. Fat Cattle -151 yarded, s large proportion half fat. Anything prime was in good request, and prices were five to ten shillings better, but half fat and inferior were about the same. Prime bullocks, £8 10s to £9 17s 6d; good, £6 10s to £7 10s; medium and half fat, £4 lo £5 10s ; prime fat cows, £0 to £7 ss; meainm, £4 10s to £5 10s. Fat Sheep—3o9s penned. Prime wethers sold about last week’s rates, but for ewes and anything inferior there was a drop of 6d tola per head. Prime heavy crossbred wethers, 13s to 15s ; medium 10s to 12s ; light, 8s to 9s. Pigs—l 34 penned. Suckers, 8s to 10a 6d ; slips, 13s to 17s ; stores, 18s to 22s ; porkers, 30s to Sss ; baconers, 40s to 595. Porkers and baconers realised over 4d per lb. AUSTRALIAN MARKETS.
