WEEKLY SHARE REPORT.

Harman Raeves, sharebroker, Rattray street Dunedin, reports as follows for week ended 20th Feby.

DUNEDIN MARKETS. Fat Cattle—-161 head yarded. Best quality met with good competition, and values were equal to last week’s. Best bullocks brought up to £8; medium, £6 17s 6d to £7 10s; light, £5 10a to £6 10s; medium to light cows, £4 15s to £3 10s. Fat Sheep—l 223 penned, mostly ewes. The sales were slow and prices fully Is per head below last week’s. Best wetbers brought 9s to 10a; medium, 7s 6d to 8s 6d ; best ewes, 7s 6d to 8s 9d; medium, 6s to 7s; light and inferor, 3s 6d to ss. pj gs —97 penned. Baooners and porkers met with good sale, but there was but poor demand for suckers. Wheat— Comparatively little has been done in new wheat. What salsa have been made have been on a basis of 4s 2d to 4s 4d for prime velvet, and 4s to 4s 3d for prime Tuscan. Fowls’ wheat is scarce and sella at 3s 6d to 3s 9d. Oats—The demand has slackened off, and to effect sales slightly lower prices have to bo (aken. Prime milling, Is lid to Is Hid ; beat feed. Is 10£d to Is lid; inferior to medium, Is 6d to Is 9d.
