Tasmania will not send troops; while South Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland have not decided on the matter. , . , The Council of the South Australian Arts Society have sent a circular to the Premiers of the Australian colonies suggesting the cost of £IOOO be equally borne by the colonies to make a presentation to the Queen in the ahape of six addresses hound like an album, the diadem to be of Australian gold in a casket of Australian wood, the panels to consist of threo water or oil paintings of Australian scenes painted under competitive conditions.
