MALVINO AND WOODS’ UNIQUE COY.
The above company, who open to-night in the Victoria Hall, have been playing to crowded houses throughout the North Otago Goldfields, and come here with a good reputation. The prpss reports are very flattering to the combination, the unique entertainment being in the highest degree enjoyable and amusing as well as different from the usual variety shows. The company comprises "Miss May Malvino who is spoken of by the public and press to be the queen of serio-comics. Then there are Professor Eobini, the world’s ventriloquist, Leon Si!burn, the human serpent, the two Mikes, Horatio Woods, the world-famed Irish comedian and dancer, who has won over fifty - medals for champion step-danoing, Professor Jennings, with bis three wonderful performing dogs—Ply, Scanty and Nettle—whose performances are marvellous, and create storms of applause. The bll of faro is sufficient to warrant a crowded house, and os popular prices are charged, the clever company deserve a good reception.
