The Morayshire’s Otago sheep sold afc 6|d per lb. The Australian lot, ex Woolloomooloo, being too old, are selling at prices ranging from to 6d.

The Meat Trades Journal, referring to the New Zealand sheep ex s.s. Morayshire, says when sheep are worth in the colony only fifteen shillings per head, and realise fiftyfour shillings in London, such a record price is sure to encourage a vast increase in her live exports. The restrictions against the importation in Victoria of New Zealand sheep, now that the colony is free from scab, will be relaxed at an early date.
