Mills and Co, auctioneers, Riverton } report — Wo held our regular sale at Foster’s yards, Thorubury, on the Ist insE There was onlv a small entry of sheep, which sold at fair'values. 100 head of cattle were yarded, 40 being fat, chiefly cows, nly a few head being prime. Tbo demand was good and the lot, except a few breeding cows, cleared at satisfactory prices. We sold 73 fat ewes at 13s Gd; 71 two-tooth ewes and wethers (small), 11s 5d ; 77 lambs, 11s 9d : 186 do, 10s Id ; 40 head fat cattle at from £3 2s to £G os foi cows, and up to £6 13s Gd for bullocks 5 47 head store cattle at from A 1 16s for young stock to £4 for steers.
