THE RIVERTON HARBOUR.

[Wo uro not responsible for the opinions expressed by our correspondents.]

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—You Riverton people can’t blame the weather if your siuvey of tho harbour is not satisfactory, as the frost is keeping tho water as smooth as a mill pond. You had better build an Eiffel tower a thousand faiboms high' and put Will-o’-the-Wisp (his lantern in his fist) on tep and you can work night and day. Tho electric light they propose erecting at the Bluff will only be a shadow compared with the brilliant flash of Will-o’-tbe-Wisp. He says that I am not a real tar, and I suppose he will say next that there is no harbour ot the Bluff.. Tar salt or tar fresh I never hoist the flog of truce while duty calls to conflicts din. and as long as you harbour theso Will-o’-the-Wisps and witches, no real bars will over come near your harbour. They have a down on all theso unearthly goblins.—l am, ko., Jack Tab.
