A New London Tower.
London is to have an Eiffel tower that will out-E'.ffel Eiffel. It is to bo twelve hundred feet high, overtopping the wonder of Paris by two hundred feet. The ooinpany has been formed, the stock subscribed, and the contracts are being let. Chicago will have r.u interest in the enterprise, as she did in the Eiffel tower, for the same elevator company is also to build the elevators for the new tower at London. Estimates are now being prepared for that purpose. The fabulous profits of the E ft',' Tower are a matter of notoriety. London, with her own five millions and her hut • dreds of thousands of oontinual visitor-, could support a tower quite as well ..< Paris. The president of the elevator compary says that the new tower will undoubted!- »e built, and that it will cost more, probably, than the Eiffcl Tower.
