In the match, to be played at Otautau on 3rd Aug, Country team v. Riverton, the following will represent tbe Country : —Clapp (2), Johnston, Cavanagh (2), Powley, Hogan, Stevens, Gardner, Rowley, Littleton, Woodward, Harvey and Drabble. The match was to have been played on Saturday first, but owing to the Orepuki fixture the Ri* orton team had to ask for a postponement, and it will now probably take place in Riverton. In the match to be played at Invercargill to-day between Town and Country, the following will be the teams; —Town : Fullback, T. Watson (I); three-quarters, MoMascer and Rogers (P), Do Joux (S); halves, P. Cuff (S), Jules Tapper (P); forwards, Tresoder, Twetalow and Cox (I), Galbraith, Bkensteen, and Mentiplay (P), Mnrphy, Jenkins and Brass (S). Country—Full-back, Rallingshaw (H); three-quarters, Hirst (0), Jarvis (M), and P. Wallis (G); halves, M’Lennan (G), and Mills (R) ; forwards, Crowlher and Fortune (0), 0. Cuff (R), Murphy (H), Hudson, F. Sayers and Kano (G), Pryde and Waddell (M). The following will represent Riverton against Orepuki at the latter’s ground nest Saturday:—Mills (2), McKay (2), Malloy, Russell, Cavanagh, Wixon, Pratt, Arnett, Woods, Smith, Stewart, Murphy, Cuff (cap). Any member of the above team who is unable to go, please notify the Secretary at once. The same team will play a match against West Wallace on Saturday, 3rd August.
