(from our own correspondent.) March 11. A meeting of the Medical Fund Committee was held at the Court House on Saturday last. The following accounts were ordered to be paid by the Treasurer;—Dr Monckton to Mr Forbes, £3 3s ; Dr Hanan to H. Cressy, £1 10s. The following notice was then made by .1. L. Carrie (Chairman), That on 22nd inst. a general meeting be called, the mover considering the time has now arrived when it is desirable this Society should be wound up, and that the funds iu hand be devoted to purchasing oue-or more life memberships in the Wallace and Fiord Hospital, Riverton. She is gen rally behind time by two or more days, for Mills, Dick and Co.’s almanac distinctly says this present moon was, or should have been full on Friday last at 1.42 p.m. Cau you then assign a reason why she did not appear to the mystified Orepukiaus to be full till Sunday or Monday. I believe we are to have a tea meeting on St. Patrick’s Day given by the Good Templars to all comers, and the School Committee intend to make a night of it by a grand ball.
