Captain Connor reports that the Elibank Castle left Grey mouth on B'h insb., coming south about. Light southerly winds preifaihd ’during the first four days. A strong S.W. gale then sprang up, and lasted three dajs, carrying her rcund the South-west Cape on Saturday. She cast anchor in the Bay early on Sunday morning, but owing to the very low tides prevailing just now she could not work over the bar. The Wanganui towed her up on Tuesday.
