Tuc Western Star Office, Riverton, Friday. The following is the Customs revenue received at the port of Riverton for the week ending Friday, 30th August, IS7B :
P. Grant an 1 Co. report the following sales effected privately during tho last fortnight: — Store cattle, GO head at £3 la 6d per head. Sheep:—l6s cross bred wcaners at 7s ; 120 fat wethers, half bred, at 16s each. Properties : Allotment in South Riverton, containing one third acre with 6 roomed house thereon £275. On account of the continued inclement weather, general business is very dull. We expect as the spring advances to give a ‘more favorable report.
