(from oun own correspondent.) Dunedin, Eriday Evening. Grain Market—Wheat continues in steady request at 4s 6d to 4s 8d for good to prime ; 4s 2d to 4s 4d for ordinary. Eowl feed, 3s 9d. Oats: considerable quantities taken for shipment, at Is 9d to Is lOd for feed, up to 2s for prime milling. Barley, of prime bright malting quality inquired for at 4s Gd to 4s 9d ; ordinary quite neglected, but may be quoted nominally at 4s to 4s 2d, while inferior is unsaleable. At Hampden, Mains -was committed fo'r trial for stabbing his wife. Mr B. Isaacs will contest the Mayoral election.
