Riverton, While beating' out on Sunday morning missed, Stays and went ashore on the Spit between the Wreck of the Bevival arid the lighthouse. The steam' launch went 'down the. same afternoon. Captain'l^ ! Dallum reports that the schooner, which" was’ high' and dry q,t low. water, lies in a very dangerous position, her, head being to the N.W., and ber. stern to seaward. The s.s. Jane was engaged this (Monday), morning to proceed down for the purpose of trying to run out an anchor to heave the vessel, off.—Duntdin Stgr.
