Every policy-holder, who is such in respect of a policy granted or entered into in New Zealand by a-Company wbo shall have made a deposit of securities under “ The Li .e Assurance Companies Act, 1873.” may, if the policy or contract lias been made before the commencement of the said Act, register such pob’ey with the Pubbc Trustee within twelve months after the commencement of the said Act, but not aider; and if made after the commencement of the s.id Act, then wltlnn six months a .ter the mat? eg thereof. (N.B. —The Ist of November, 1873, is fixed as tbe commencement of tbo Act.) 2. The person intending to reg.-sler a policy shall either dehver the same to the Pubbc Trustee at his office in Wellington, or may deliver the same to an agent; and eve, y such person shall make application to register such pobey in a form which can be obtained at any Post Office iu the Colony at which Money Orders are issued. 3.
