END FATALLY
TWO AUCKLAND ACCIDENTS MAN KNOCKED DOWN (Per Press Association) AUCKLAND, Last Night. • Knocked down by a taxi at College Hill on Sunday evening, Donald R. McKenzie (65), formerly works manager of the "New Zealand Sun” newspaper, Auckland, died in hospital this morning from head injuries, fracture of both legs and shock. He joined the staff in 1905. Deceased had been a keen yachtsman and bowler. He leaves a widow and three daughters.
ELDERLY PEDESTRIAN The death also occurred in hospital this morning of Air. J. W. Beedston, an elderly pedestrian, who was struck by a car on Manukau Road on Sunday.
