TRAFFIC HELD UP
SLIP IN THE GORGE FALL OF ROCK ON RAILWAY PALMERSTON N., Last Night. This afternoon there was another fall of rock across the railway line in the Manawatu Gorge. The quantity of material that came down was not sufficient to prevent trains from running, but in view of the hazards of the journey passenger traffic between Woodville and Palmerston has been diverted to the road.
