An effective method of silencing a persistent interjector was adopted by Mt C. R. Dodd, Democrat candidate for Auckland Central, when itiho candifdlalte invited the intcrjector to come and sit on the ipfflatfbrm, next to the chairman. Tho invitation was accepted and, apparently embarrassed by 'the Bight .of the sen of faces beneath him, the interjectot did not utter another word until the end of the meeting, when he moved a vote of thanks and confidence as tan amendment! to a vote of thanks. /
