An unsuccessful 'request for probation was made by Bernard Victor Cottier, aged 43. labourer, who was described by the police as ”a peeping Tom.” when he appeared in the Magistrate's Court to-day, charged with being found on enclosed premises without lawful excuse.
Cottier pleaded guilty, 'Saying that his trouble was duo to a bad breakdown in health.
Mr Stilwell, S.M., pointed out that Cottier’is list’ for such offences dated back to 1929. and imposed ia sentence of three months’ imprisonmerit.
