Foresters’ Order—Secretaries Confer A conference of secretaries of the Foresters' Courts in Hawke’s Bay was held at Wa'ijpukurau onl Saturday evening. The chief business was to arrange for am annual meeting of lodge secretaries. The firsit such meeting is to he hold early next yeiair. Bro. W. Kamsley (Waitangi Lodge) presided, and the District Secretary (Bro. F. R. Redpath) acted as secretary for the meeting. The following lodges were represented: Captain Cook (Naipier), Sir Henry Havelock (Havelock North), Heretaunga (Hastings l ), Waitangi (Clive), Littl'e John (Waijnawa), and Ruahine (Waipukurau). Apologies were received for absence from Napier, Wairoa, and Damnevirke. After the meeting an enjoyable supper -was served.
