Will She Be Lucky?
Superstition is by no means dead. Recelntly an Invercargill woman boarded a tram-car carrying in her hand a horseshoe. In reply to a question from ia friend, she stated that she was just coming out of a store after buying an art union ticket when she saw thei Eorseshoo on the street. She considered that failure to pick it up would ruin her chances of winning a prize.
