MR. JULL AT SANATORIUM

Mr. A. E. Jull, M.P., official National candidate for the Waipawa Seat, addressed a large meeting of electors at the Pukeora Sanatorium this morning.

Dr. G. Maclean, medical superintendent, presided.

Mr. Jull gave a spirited address, and his replies to a number of goodhumoured interjections gave an indication of his sound knowledge of the political position. The speaker was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. LABOUR CANDIDATE MR. CHRISTIE AT ONGA ONG A Mr. H. M. Christie addressed a large and attentive meeting at the Onga On- a Hall last evening. Several questions were asked and answered in a direct manner by the candidate. The speaker appealed to supporters to reeor.l their votes. The Labour Party, he said, have not an unlimited number of cars at their command. The speaker received a hearty vote of thanks. REGRET EXPRESSED Regret is expressed in the advertising columns of to-day’s issue of the “Press” by Mr. H. M. Christie, the Labour candidate for the Waipawa Seat, that owing to the time lost through having occasion to undergo hospital treatment at the beginning of his campaign he has been unable to visit each of the many pollingplaces in the electorate.
