FIRST DEGREE MURDER
BOY AND YOUNG MAN DEATH SENTENCE PASSED NEW YORK, November 22. Jacob Ciemiengo, aged 16, and >a companion;, GPonge Hildebrand, ten years older, were convicted of firstdegree murder at the Burliingtion, New Jersey, Cohnty Court to-day and .sentenced to die in the electric chair.
Ciemiengo is the youngest person ever co'nvicit'ed on such a charge and will he the youngest put to death legally in America, according to criminal records.
The youths shot and killed an aged farmer whom they intended to rob, according to the charge by the (prosecution. The presiding judge, Mr Hendrickson, declared tlhie jury’is verdict just.
